Neil Warnock says “Ta very much”!

Square in the Air received a nod of approval from QPR manager Neil Warnock last week.

We were tasked with creating a promotional gift for betting daily the Racing Post to raise awareness of their fantastic pre-season pullout, The Big Kick-Off.

Square in the Air came up with the idea of a box of miniature spirits, each of which represented one of the Prem’s top managers: Sir Alex Ferguson, a vintage Scotch; Arsene Wenger, a stylish Cognac; Chelsea’s young Portuguese manager AVB a fruity port; and Roberto Mancini, a rich Limoncello.

These gift boxes were sent to broadcast journalists, former players and current managers, including Hoops boss Warnock. When he called the RP ‘s Mark Langdon, the paper’s football journo feared he was about to get a ticking off for slating the newly promoted side. But no, it was a grateful call to pass on his thanks in person! Cheers Neil!

Read the anecdote in Bruce Millington’s column below and check out some images of the gift boxes.
