Alan McInally’s official Celtic FC betting preview
Former Celtic striker Alan McInally has teamed up with online betting partner BETDAQ to preview this weekend’s game against Dundee United.
As we expected Celtic were able to cope with the severe weather up at Peterhead to comfortably come through the tie and book their place in the next round of the cup. The Hoops thankfully return to Celtic Park on Saturday where they’ll be looking to continue their superb run of SPL results.
Before the trip to North East Scotland, Celtic had won ten domestic games on the bounce and this time it’s Dundee United looking to derail the title charge.
The Terrors are sixth in the SPL and already 27 points behind the league leaders after 22 matches. Following two league games without a win, Dundee hammered Airdrie United 6-2 in the cup at the weekend which will have done the side a world of good heading into the game.
However, the Hoops have already beaten Dundee twice this season and have racked up six goals in the process. Hoops fans will have fond memories of the 5-1 result when the Terrors last visited Celtic Park and I fancy another comfortable afternoon.
Dundee last beat Celtic eight matches ago at Tannadice Park and anyone that sees an upset on the cards can get 8/1 on BETDAQ 1BET.
Celtic are available at 1/5 on the outright market, but given their form and big win the last time Dundee visited – get on the 5/6 for the Hoops to win by two goals.
